Nicole Bohannon Hampton Named an On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyer by the American Bar Association

Rosen Harwood is proud to announce that Nicole Bohannon Hampton is a 2019 recipient of the American Bar Association’s On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers Award.  This award recognizes young lawyers across the nation who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community service.

 Nicole is a fourth-year associate attorney in the firm’s litigation group and focuses her practice on governmental and environmental work for both public and private clients.

 Nicole’s work in her state and local community focuses on her passion for justice, access to higher education, and instilling the power of civic and community engagement in young people.  She volunteers regularly as pro bono counsel through the State Volunteer Lawyers Program for clients in Tuscaloosa, Pickens, and Greene Counties, as well as at free legal clinics held quarterly at the Tuscaloosa VA.  For over a decade, she has worked closely with the non-profit, Alabama Possible, whose mission is to break down barriers to prosperity for every Alabamian.

 Nicole is actively involved at First United Methodist Church Tuscaloosa and serves on the Advisory Board for UA Law School’s Public Interest Institute. She has been a member of the Junior League of Tuscaloosa since 2014 and currently serves as Vice President of Fund Development.  She is also a graduate of the Leadership Tuscaloosa Class of 2019.
