Christina Howton, Paralegal
Originally from Sheffield, Alabama, Nicole Bohannon Hampton joined Rosen Harwood, P.A. in 2015, where she primarily practices in litigation, environmental law, and governmental and regulatory affairs. Nicole works with public and private clients to ensure federal and state regulatory compliance and minimize litigation risk.
Nicole’s environmental practice marries her experience in litigation and governmental and regulatory affairs to the benefit of her clients. She has experience in National Environmental Policy Act and Oil Pollution Act litigation, as well as natural resource damage assessments and restoration planning that require a collaborative approach between local, state and federal partners. She has also assisted with the drafting of environmental assessments and environmental impact statements, as well as regulatory compliance and interpretation at a project management level ranging from the Land and Water Conservation Fund to the Marine Mammal Protection Act. Nicole also represents governmental and quasi-governmental entities on a broader scale of matters, assisting with real property issues, municipal ordinance and state legislative interpretation, and general litigation assistance.
Nicole’s litigation practice focuses on governmental and regulatory litigation, with an emphasis on environmental and real property disputes for both public and private clients. She practices in both state and federal courts, including appellate work. She also has experience with a broad variety of multidistrict and complex business litigation. Nicole approaches both basic and complex litigation with out of the box thinking that keeps an end goal of practical and positive results for her clients in mind.
