Jillian White Associate

A native of Tuscaloosa County, Jillian obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama, graduating summa cum laude in 2008. While an undergraduate student, she was a member and captain of the nationally ranked Crimson Cabaret dance team. She received her Juris Doctor in 2011, graduating cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law. As a law student she served as a Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review, Vice President and Auction Committee Chair of the Dorbin Association, and certified legal intern in the Elder Law Clinical Program.

Jillian is a member of both the Alabama State Bar and Mississippi State Bar and is licensed to practice law in all Alabama and Mississippi state courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama and the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She is a member of the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program, and Mississippi Bankruptcy Conference.

Jillian serves on the board of directors for Tuscaloosa Community Dancers (“TCD”), a nonprofit dance organization. She also serves on the board of The Actor’s Charitable Theatre (“The ACT”), a nonprofit community theatre organization. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching dance, performing, and choreographing. You may have seen her onstage with TCD as Frau Stahlbaum in The Nutcracker, or with The ACT as Margaret in “9 to 5: The Musical” and as Annelle in “Steel Magnolias.” Jillian is married to Christopher White, a manager with the firm of Way, Ray, Shelton & Co., P.C. They have an English bulldog named Macy and a cat named Atticus.
