Seth A. Newton

Seth A. Newton was admitted to the bar in 2007. He received his bachelor of science degree in geology from The University of Alabama in 2001 and his master’s of science degree in geophysics from The University of Wyoming in 2004. He returned to Alabama to attend The University of Alabama School of Law where he received his juris doctorate in 2007.
While earning his degrees, he was a member of the Christian Legal Society, Jasons, Omicron Delta Kappa, Order of Omega, Geological Society of America, and the American Geophysical Union. Mr. Newton was a board member for the Public Interest Institute, was awarded the Dean’s Community Service Award, and was recognized as the Outstanding Geology Senior.
While attending law school, Mr. Newton clerked at the State of Alabama Oil and Gas Board.
He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa.
