Gordon Rosen

Born in Rochester, New York, November 16, 1921, Gordon Rosen attended both the University of New Mexico, where he received his bachelor of arts degree in 1944, and The University of Alabama, where he received his law degree in 1949. While at The University of Alabama, Mr. Rosen was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, Farrah Order of Jurisprudence and Alabama Law Review’s Editorial Board.
From 1970-1984 he served as a Municipal Court Judge, City of Tuscaloosa. Mr. Rosen has also served as a lecturer in law, Real Estate Practice, for The University of Alabama Law School.
Mr. Rosen is currently a member of the Tuscaloosa and American Bar Associations having served as president of the Tuscaloosa Association in 1963; Alabama State Bar; American College of Mortgage Attorneys; Tuscaloosa Estate Planning Council; and Alabama Law Institute.
His primary areas of practice include real estate law, probate law, domestic relations law and business law.
In his more than 55 years of practicing law, Mr. Rosen has represented a broad cross-section of the West Alabama Community.
